Plot The play is set in Denmark and follows the prince Hamlet, who seeks revenge upon his uncle Claudius. After Hamlet's sentries and his friend Horatio encounter the ghost of King Hamlet, they vow to tell his son what they have witnessed.
Characters:
Hamlet -  The Prince of Denmark, the title character, and the protagonist. He is about thirty years old at the start of the play, Hamlet is the son of Queen Gertrude and the late King Hamlet, and the nephew of the present king,
Claudius -  The King of Denmark, Hamlet’s uncle, and the play’s antagonist. The villain of the play, Claudius is a calculating, ambitious politician, 
Gertrude -  The Queen of Denmark, Hamlet’s mother, recently married to Claudius. Gertrude loves Hamlet deeply, but she is a ,weak woman who seeks affection and status more urgently than moral rectitude or truth.
Polonius -  The Lord Chamberlain of Claudius’s court, a pompous, conniving old man. Polonius is the father of Laertes and Ophelia.
Horatio -  Hamlet’s close friend, who studied with the prince at the university in Wittenberg. Horatio is loyal and helpful to Hamlet throughout the play. After Hamlet’s death, Horatio remains alive to tell Hamlet’s story.

 My reaction surprised me most of all, I never expected to find something of Shakespeare’s that I not only dislike, but also detest. This is also one of his most revered plays, and it’s also considered one of his greatest tragedies. So I’m somewhat dumfounded at my reaction. This play was frustrating, annoying and damn right revolting.

Reading Hamlet has been something different from what I usually read, since I almost never read theater. However, it has not been very heavy and the revenge story has entertained me a lot. I also like it because Hamlet is original and groundbreaking for his time.

The average was 1 or 2 books a month, some people said don´t have too much time to read and others said that they only read the school books.
