I admire Jose Maria Narvaez y Gervete who was in my line of descent the great-grandfather of my mother's grandfather, he was a geographer like me, he documented and communicated the geography of Jalisco during the first two decades of independent life, with which he generated the first geographical imaginary of the entity, which lasted until the 1880s. He was the author of the first map of Jalisco, which stands out for the details and precision with which it was elaborated; Other relevant aspects of his work are the studies and projects carried out during the first years of the 19th century with the intention of replacing the port of San Blas with another (Santiago, Navidad, Chamela, Bahía de Banderas, among other places). That is my favorite story person.
