My name is Mary Kate Donahue. I'm a Psychology major with hopes of later getting a Ph.D. in Children and Adolescent Clinical Psychology.  I am (hopefully) soon to be published for my third time.  I am an Advocate for the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome and have been a key note speaker for the past two years at the Dare to Dream conference.  

Tourette Syndrome (TS) is a complex disorder, most of us with TS also have co-morbid conditions. I personally have Tourette Syndrome, Severe Generalized Anxiety Disorder, OCD, Autism (what used to be called Asperger's), and Sensory Processing Disorder. Most people who have TS "grow out of it" as it is seen as a childhood disorder. But there are those of us, like myself, who have not gotten any symptom relief. Some will experience minor symptoms.
