ICT has a significant effect on our daily lives, including the way we learn and prepare the younger generation for changing work, social and cultural environments. Teachers should acquire the necessary skills and competencies to adapt and use current and new technologies in the changing learning environment. A code of conduct needs to be introduced to the students when using their smart devices in the teaching and learning environments. when students are made accountable for their own learning they invest more in their classes. Students and parents need to embrace ICT technologies in the education system and take advantage to educate themselves whilst learning new technologies.

ICT  has bought many challenges to the teaching and learning environments. Government and external stakeholders need to reshape the education system into an adaptable, flexible, and relevant social environment to ensure that teachers, students, and adults; have the means to pursue lifelong learning and also that ICT reaches the poorest and vulnerable communities.
