Think that the zagros and Tigris mountains helped them settle and all the water and the Mediterranean sea helped them settle. The the water impacted Mesopotamia because because if they go by the water they have water but if they go not by water it's going to be hard. Then the mountains because then if people trespass then it's harder to get to because of the mountains.

The government /laws are important because if there were robbers stealing without laws and government there was nothing to do but with rules they had punishments.hammurabi’s laws tell me about Mesopotamia are that they had rules and they had to follow them and if they broke a rule they were most likely burned in fire till they died or the drowned in the water. His laws were important because then there were punishments if you broke a law and you would die and it is important now because without those laws we would not have rules and laws in the present.

A priest he had lots of education and there is a lot of skill to be a priest.scribe shave good education so that they can be good scribes workers and it takes a little skill but it kind of easy to be a scribe.the last one is a slave, slaves have to work hard everyday for 3 years and don’t really get time to get educated they have to work no math work like work in the fields all day and don’t get educated lots of people become slaves if they have to pay money or something else like that so you can’t just be a slave forever your a slave for 3 years.
