The 3-D Holographic imaging view has been implemented in several hospitals. MD's now have the opportunity to look at your organs in 3-D form prior to surgery. According to MD Judy "It takes data from CT and MRI scans and transforms it into 3-D holographic images so she can view and interact with patient tissues and organs as if they were real physical objects." The 3-D holographic imaging goes a step further and creates an actual 3-D space image.

The 3-D holographic imaging would allow the MD's to implement interventions before even preforming surgeries on the patient's. This would be a safe method to utilize when the patient is unstable and needs further treatment to diagnose or find the approach to take when the patient has a bleed versus going in and preforming surgery and not knowing where the bleed is.
