-Jews were mistreated and there were not many jobs available for them. The jobs that were available were jobs that were ¨sinful¨ and they got mistreated even worse for working.

-At this point in time, there was a diverse selection of goods that were being sold.

-Most towns had markets where food and local goods were sold.
