In one of the activities, the second one precisely, there is an in-pairs activity for which most adolescents are really interested to work with, different from when it comes to adults who would rather do things by their own in which autonomy senses are stronger and more embraced; there is room for meaningful learning when tapping into this type activities that certainly involve subsequent scaffolding, previous knowledge and knowledge-building from watching others performing certain task, as it is the case in the pointed previous example with the dialogue; “the integration of new knowledge into the learner’s existing language system occurs with certainty only when the language is used spontaneously in a communicative (purposeful) situation to express the learner’s own meaning” (Crawford, 2002, p.88).
