This adult teacher finally hummed in a swimming course with other similar adults. Her
skills began to develop as she received external technical assistance from a group tutor.
The real WOW-experience was born when her course mate offered her swimming
goggles. The new underwater world opened and swimming became easier with a right
breathing technique and the sense of right rhythm. That occasion triggered her own
motivation for learning.

I think teachers and students have to learn separate hearing and active listening - you propably sometimes just hear what others are speaking but not actually listening i.e. actively try to understand what you hear.

I also think that participatory teaching requires basically participation by teachers - you should be involved in many ways not just 'teaching' (lecturing).

I think characteristics of the diginatives should be taken into consideration f.e. when creating intereating lectures by using more pictures and videos and less text. However university cant completely adjust itself on the needs of students. Students also need to adjust on what it is to be in university. It is sometimes good just to open a book and read and throw a cellphone out of window.
