  • In your group, discuss the questions in the Google slides. They will guide you in forming your Stakeholders’ Statement (SS) which is meant to prepare you for the Stakeholders’ Statement Sharing (SSS similarity test) which is in step 4.

    1. 20 to 25min for crafting of speeches (Stakeholder Statement) please write in your respective Docs. 
    2. If you need help, take a look under the Day 1 Resources section post titled ‘Speech notes’ for sample.
    3. Send up 2 people in your grp to present your speeches ( preferably 1 person who has presented last session & 1 person who hasn’t present before) 

    Debate (1h 10min)
    1. 30 mins to research (research on possible counter arguments)
    2. We will start the debate rotation based on the Speakers’ List.
    3. Each stakeholder group will have a speaker presenting a 2min debate.
    4. After each debate speech is made, each stakeholder group need to come up with at least one question for clarification or question to challenge their points
    5. Then, the next stakeholder group will present their 2min debate. You may choose to do counter argument or disagreement to the previous group(s).

    Alliance Resolution (50min)
    1. Form alliance with other stakeholder group based on common interest since you have listen to their point of view during the debate(for example, teachers can work with parents)
    2. Using the template given, discuss and come up with solution(s).
    3. Only one person per two groups (alliance) need to type in the google slides.
    4. Using the answers in the google slides, come up with an alliance resolution which is similar to the sample given.
    5. If you need help, refer to the sample in the Day 1 Resources section.
    6. Tomorrow morning will be your time to present so select one person in advance to be the presenter!
    Notes:
    • Speak confidently because there will be judges to judge your speeches!
    • 2 best speakers will be recognised for each classes!

IHL can also reduce the numbers of students in a class, so that the teachers can focus ans help the individual students better.
