Plasma membrane is the intracellular structures of prokaryotes. The function of plasma membrane are selective permeable barrier,synthesizes cell wall components , assists in DNA replication, carries on respiration and captures energy as ATP. The movements of materials across membranes are passive and active processes. The passive process which are simple diffusion,facilitated diffusion and osmosis while the active processes which are active transport and group translocation.This is the first time I heard about it. So, it take a time to me to understand. Inclusions are divided into seven which are metachromatic granules,polusaccharide granules,lipid inclusions,sulphur granules,carboxysomes,magnetosomes and gas vacuoles. Metachromatic granules is inorganic phosphate used in the synthesis of ATP, polysaccharide granules is consists of glycogen and starch,lipid inclusions is revealed by Sudan dyes(fat-solube),sulphur granules is serves as an energy reserve,carboxysomes is used for carbon dioxide fixation during during photosynthesis,magnetosomes is function to protect the cell aganist hydrogen peroxide accumulation, gas vesicles is provide buoyancy for aquatic prokaryotes.Last friday is our examination for microbiology, I feel very scared about my marks and I realise that many topics that I don't understands.I think that I have to  improve my studies so that I can get a good result. ]]> 2016-10-17 00:26:28 UTC https://padlet.com/shahidatulnabilah/rrnlol31ir8j/wish/131012622
