It wasn't until we had the opportunity to go in a group and collaborate on a project, which I feel went well in the end, that I started to become a little bit more calm with the course and the people.

When I start on Monday, I hope that I will learn the fundamentals of the Media industry and also learn from any possible mistakes in my one minute production. This was to highlight the bright colours in the background, and make them not be so bright. The fact that we were able to achieve this in a good enough means the image turned out very nice, even though it wasn't good as I intended it to be. If the lens on the DSLR had an aperture of f2.0 or below, we would've been able to achieve what we aimed for, but because the minimum aperture was f5.6, it meant our range was limited. For this particular image the shutter speed was on around 1/200, as any lower would've meant the image turned out blurry and thus not acceptable. As well as this, the ISO was around 400, because it wasn't that dark inside of the college. This is double the ISO of the photo above, as obviously they were shot in two different location meaning we had to adapt to the weather conditions. Throughout our photo shoot we shot in manual mode as this way we were able to control everything that happened in the photo. However this time we we were outside, as we thought we would be able to get a better depth of field than indoors. This turned out partially true, as the background was much more further away from him than indoors. We did have to change the setting on the camera as well, t adapt to the environment.. We got some good shots due to the lighting being very nice and soft. As well as this, the weather was a bit windy which in return meant the leaves and tress had some movement, adding a dynamic to the shot. Then after we filmed in Hainault Forest, we went back to Jordan's house to get a couple of shots of Jordan typing, staring at a monitor and 'preparing his plan'.

12/11/16 - Today I filmed with Meghan for the first time. We filmed in a graveyard next to a church in Barkingside. Overall I would say the filming went well as we got a lot of footage which ended up being in the final cut. As well as this, we collaborated a little bit on what she should do and how she should emote during the scene. I also was able to get a lot of good shots of tombstones, angles etc, which really add to the mise-en-scene to the film.

14/11/16 - Today I filmed with Jordan a bit in the T.V studio. I filmed him pushing some buttons and messing around with TV monitors, cameras and switches, to represent he is making a sick T.V show.

15/11/16 - Today I filmed with Jordan again in the T.V studio, but this time he is sitting down looking at his victim (Meghan) menacingly. I was able to get Ian to get some red gel to put over the studio lights, as I felt the red-lighting fit the scene well thematically. 

16/11/16 - Today I filmed with Meghan in the T.V studio. I filmed her getting scared by her captor, crying and panting. I was able to get some good lighting due to my f1.8 lens and get a good performance from her as she is an actress. After this we also recorded dialogue and voice-overs for her character. 

17/11/16 - Today I didn't get to film as we came back from a school trip and there were no teachers to get equipment from. But I did manage to get a spare tripod from Simon and get one good shot of Jordan in front a projector. 

20/11/16 - Today was the last day of filming. I filmed with James and Kai in the T.V studio and thanks to Claudio I was able to get some good lighting effects to really hammer home the tone i was trying to get across. I have many shows that I want to take inspiration from, such as By Any Means (2013), Se7en, The Night Of (2016) and True Detective.
