In the article Nike co-founder Phil Knight: I was told I wouldn’t make it. Here’s how I did it anyways, The author examines how important it is to be optimistic when people doubt you. In the article Phil had a quote that was we knew we could fail but we just didn't think we could. That showed how he was so confident with what he was doing. Another time he was optimistic was when he was selling shoes out of his car at various track meets this made it seem like he never wanted to give up. That is what my article was about never giving up when people doubt you.

His definition of business comes from the words: “When you make something, when you improve something, when you deliver something, when you add some new thing or service to the lives of strangers, making them happier, or healthier, or safer, or better, and when you do it all crisply, efficiently, smartly, the way everything should be done but so seldom is — you’re participating more fully in the whole grand human drama.”
