It wasn’t too difficult as I could remember most of the key buildings. However the lessons helped to identify some plurals of buildings such as Bahnhöfe, Schulen etc.

Though the voice in the video is a little annoying. Along side this video I recorded myself doing the exercises in the video comparing my pronunciation to theirs on the video. Which I found very helpful as I didn't realise that I was pronouncing some things incorrectly. Overall it was very useful as it was applicable to most of the vocabulary I've learned so far. I need to keep doing this progressively to see if I have improved.

Although I think this is something that I will always struggle with a little the system he uses is very helpful. He goes into detail on all cases, Nom, Acc, Dat and Gen. Although the Gen isn’t applicable yet the rest is perfect to help with the grammar of this particular subject. Though I will need to keep practicing to increase my speed in working these out.

Practicing the grammar and sentence structure of times proved to be especially useful since I found it a little tricky to get my head around at first, especially on the prepositions. Thought the interactive nature of Duolingo has helped since I can practice this in a number of scenarios.

Since dative is the case which I have always struggled with most, having to refer back to the text book much more than for Acc and Nom cases. It was really good to consolidate my knowledge since I have always been a little shaky on dative grammar and prepositions.

So I have really enjoyed doing exercises and revising it. This exercise helped me to consolidate my knowledge on the subject, since it gives a very clear description of the sentence structure to use when using perfect tense. Along side the grammar I found it very useful to look over the irregular verbs that don't follow the rule, such as gegessen etc.

The rocket languages link helps with pronunciation and vocabulary as It has a lot of recorded phrases which you can play back. And the transparent blog explains the reasoning for the change in grammar and sentence structure when describing certain feelings. e.g Ich bin langweilig vs Mir ist langweilig.

Since asking questions is something I've always found the structure of questions quite hard to get my head round, and practicing both sides of the vocabulary has helped me consolidate my knowledge, whilst learning useful vocabulary.
