Ads use words to convince us to do/ buy/say things, so when these words attack, diminish the humanity of others, ads become part of violence, part of the destruction more than the construction

I think that the use of some references or images to suggest a product sometimes diminishes a group of people. An example could be in beer advertisements when they stereotype women and men.

3 out of 4 are about women. I guess the past used to look like this. Nowadays it is changing, but still it diminish something to make something stand out
