I grew up with my little brother and sister, where we always played school. (I was always the teacher of course). Growing up without a mom caused me to fill that role, always taking care of my siblings while my dad worked to support us. Taking care of people, especially children, has always been a love of mine!

Travelling and History

I have always had a love for history. This contributed to my love for travel! At first, I stayed within the United States. Wanting to experience other cultures and history, I then went to both Thailand and Sri Lanka and decided to stay for a month. The next time I got to travel out of country was last year, where I went to London in March and then to Birmingham in December to celebrate Christmas with the friends I had made there. Travelling for me gives me a look outside of everyday life and helps me think of the world and not just the US.

I am currently 26 years old and have been a bartender for 4 years. I grew up very shy and quickly realized I was going to get nowhere in bartending if I didn't open up. I started college later in life because my dad didn't believe in pursuing a higher education. I did my general classes at NWACC and this is my first semester at UARK to get my Bachelors in Social Studies Secondary Education. My partner, Chance, has been my rock. He has encouraged me to continue with school and to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher!

Olive

Olive is the only thing I have from my past life. She is my entire world and I see her more as my child than my dog. My partner and I love to take her camping and hiking, as she loves being outdoors! I originally adopted her from the shelter as a 4 month old puppy to be a guard dog, but she is scared of EVERYTHING! Especially anything having to do with light (lightning, flashlights, photos, etc).
