Caracteristicas: 
*Una comedia musical esta constituida por diez canciones en el primer acto y cinco en el segundo, además de tres o cuatro repeticiones.

*Existen estilos preestablecidos utilizados para producir una emoción: 

-La balada romántica: produce ardor.
 -La copla cómica: risa. 
 -El número rápido: agitación. 
-El ritmo lento: expansabilidad. 
-Número final: da lugar al regocijo.

Algunos ejemplos son: My fair Lady, Grease, The Greatest Showman, La La Land, The Muppets, Funny Girl y Moana.
