From bedtime stories as a kid, to winning a NCTE essay contest, to gaining state-wide recognition for multiple submissions to my high school literary magazine, to being a student library aide, reading and writing have always been a large part of my life. The potential for communication to be combined with creativity is what excites me most about writing my own work and reading yours.

The "Write" Path For Me

I have always loved the routine, variety of people to meet, and-- of course-- opportunity to learn that school provides. Something that made high school so beneficial for me was my amazing teachers, and I can't wait for the opportunity to become one of those teachers for someone else. In 2023, I hosted a Children's Writing Workshop with fellow LitMag members. This chance to be the mentor in a learning environment only made me more set on teaching.

I love rats! Yes, those pesky rodents that chew through electrical wires and live in sewers. Turns out, they can be really sweet pets if you give them a chance. This is Dingle, Toot, and Tinker.
