These clinics are only two of thousands of free clinics that are student ran. There is no fee, the facility is ran under the medical supervision of multiple specialties and with most locations in areas that are among the low-income, socioeconomic class.

Medical care/treatment is needed worldwide. With proper insurance, an individual will receive care. What type of care are those without insurance receiving? What type of illnesses can be treated or prevented if proper care was given?

"62% of African Americans and 44% of Hispanics did not have private insurance compared to 77% of Anglos with private pay insurance.
1/3 of the Hispanic population does not carry insurance"

Insurance cannot be the reason a person lives or dies. Socioeconomic class and income play a substantial part in healthcare. There are other solutions. Healthcare needs to be available to everyone and not at different care levels due to income/insurance. All races need quality care. Free clinics will provide quality care and eliminate insurance concerns. Statistics show there is a need. The increase of free clinics prove it is possible to have quality healthcare at no cost to the individual accordingly. Training for the staff is simply utilizing medical students in a different modality. Communities are being improved and families are able to care for one another better than before.

References
https://www.kff.org/disparities-policy/issue-brief/eliminating-racialethnic-disparities-in-health-care-what/

Abstract
Healthcare and the levels of need do not reach every race. The standard basic health care is minimal for most but to others is never received due to the cost primarily, but also the time required for the appointments, diagnosis, treatment that some families cannot make the time for. Multiple ethnic groups suffer due to the high cost of healthcare and they are left ill when solutions are simple and free.
Free student run clinics are a solution to the growing healthcare problem. With state funding, there is no reason for there to not be more clinics throughout every community.

A legal document has been provided to show the legal guidelines a free clinic facility must follow and also ensures quality of caregivers and fair business practices. The free clinic facility has regulatory statutes that must be followed per state. Current medical facilities fall under specific state and federal guidelines but require the patient to have a certain income or insurance to receive appropriate, kind care. The stigma behind a non-insured patient decreases the type of care he/she is provided. Patient care is better served with the patient in mind and not their form of payment.
