On the homepage, they said since September 1984, more than 11,000 women and children have been helped by North York Women’s shelter. In the section on “impact and reports”, there’s a woman who said it has been two years since she first came to NYWS, and she is grateful that even now, she can still turn to NYWS for help. They helped her find an apartment and set it up. They also helped with any legal issues that arose after she left. She and her woman are still in counseling to continue healing from the experience. Although it is still difficult to sleep at times, she is now very excited about the future.

The feedback from the website is the opposite of the google review. So the quality programs may not seem as good as on the website. They are saying that the managers are bad managers, and the room is not really good and small. They are ignoring the message they send and being unfriendly and disrespectful.
