Lucy Eleanor Moderatz (Sandra Bullock) feels lonely and expecting for family and love as lost her mother at very young age and then her father a year ago. She works as a fare token collector for the Chicago Transit Authority. She has a secret crush on a handsome commuter named Peter Callaghan (Peter Gallagher), Peter didn't know Lucy's feeling towards him. 

(Climax):Few days later, Jack visit Lucy at er workplace togeter with his family and proposed Lucy after places an engagement ring in the token tray of her booth. Finally they get married and Lucy remembers her father's words that 'Life doesnt always turn out the way you plan'. Lucy was so happy that Jack brings her to Florence, Italy for their honeymoon. Licy also narrates that, when Peter asked when she fell in love with Jack, she replied, "it was while you were sleeping."

The climax scene also caught my attention when Peter's family get to know the truth. After that, main theme of the story, LOVE...love makes the world beautiful.
