For example, in the memoir Little Things Are Big it shows, "I was like a rude animal walking on two legs just moving on, half running along the long the subway platform, leaving the children and the suitcase and the woman with the baby in her arms." When the author emphasized this, visualizing the scene was a huge thing. This is a simile that shows the conflict in a unique way, but still descriptive. This possibly means that he explained himself like a rude animal on two legs, disrespectfully pushing past a woman who could use help. This is caused because he is having internal thoughts about how the woman would react.
