because the fleurs-de-lis appear on both. this is largely due to the acadian (french) influence in quebec, and also new orleans as acadians were exiled to new orleans.

land allocated was much greater (640 acres per family of five)

underwhelming rights compared to the rest of the treaties, did not mention retaining hunting and fishing rights, and also gave anual 3$ payment instead of the standard 5$ among the numbered treaties of the future. and only gave 160 acres per family of five.

the rights were all the same as treaty number 1 however it is important to note that by 1875 the discrepincy in payments between the rest of the numbered treaties was solved and the anual payment was raised to a standard of 5$

treaty number 3 rights were used as a standard however trapping was also included as a right among fishing and hunting, and also less headmen were appointed (2 instead of 4 like treaty 3) chiefs and headmen also recieved larger gratuity and only 750$ was allocated to ammunition and twine

again treaty number 3 was the standard however land allocated was only 160 acres per family of 5 and there was a one time payment for twine, agricultural implements, and tools, rather than an annual payment

usual terms from treaties but also 640 acres allocated per family of five, and 3 other new agreements as well. it was agreed that a medicine chest would be maintained by the indian agent, assistance would be provided in times of famine, and the people signing the treaty (the indigenous group) would get a annual 1000$ payment per year to help cultivate the land for the first three years.

treaty 7 was very different from the treaties preceding it, rather than asking for agricultural implements from the government they would focus on ranching (resulting in less seed stock in exchange for an increased number of cattle with the exception of any bands that wanted to focus on farming. another important difference is that they asked for the crown to pay teachers salaries rather than asking for maintenance of the schools, and also instead of asking for the promise of schools on reserves

same as previous treaties however the main addition was provisions for 160 acres of land for individuals that chose to live outside the band, this was due to populations not being as concentrated in the north

arguably the "worst" treaty the annuity was 4$ instead of 5, and there was no distribution of twine, ammunition, farm implements, carpentry tools, and no salaries or clothing for the chiefs and councillors
