This book study had reflections and quizzes to go along with it that made me think even more about my purpose and take on life's decisions. This book was written by a teacher so see something from his perspective and connect it to where I am today and where I want to end up in the classroom. This book is filled with lots of life lessons, and scenarios that the author Brooks Harper ran into in his life. He shares how he overcomes those problems and what little things to not waste your time on in life. It has many different platforms like Tiktok, Instagram, Blog, etc. This resource I think is valuable because you can see how different teachers use and incorporate different activities, lessons, and games in their classroom. Then you can get their honest feedback and read what they would change and how their class responded to the said activity. This book is filled with tips, tricks, examples of what to do and not to do. A book filled with experiences by others and things to learn from and do better with your own life. This is so valuable to me as I am beginning my journey to college and eventually to be a teacher. I want to prepare myself to use my time wisely and how I can also share these helpful tips with others who might be struggling to get stuff done. There were lots of reminders in this book about what to do first and what not to worry about. Definitely stopped me in my track and has me re-writing my priority list when it comes to the things I need to get done before I graduate high school!

I listened to a podcast about the differences between balanced literacy and structured literacy. There are benefits to both teaching styles. Listening to this podcast was helpful for me because they described both teaching styles and how there are pros and cons to both styles for both the teacher and student perspective. When podcasts give all viewpoints this allows me the listener to brainstorm ideas and how I would present them in my future classroom. This specific podcast not only talks and shares information via a podcast but she has her own website and blog where you can purchase different resources. The couple of podcasts that I have listened to are going to be valuable to my future teaching because the one was 6 technology tools to use in the classroom. These were just 6 websites that she felt impacted her classroom or she had used a lot recently. Listening to her can give me ideas on what websites are out there and how I might want to include them in my lesson. In a way, she does the work for you and gives you a description of the tool prior to using it yourself. 
The other takeaway from her podcast episode is called "Distract the Distractor". This one was very eye-opening 
to me because it is a great idea on how to gather student(s) attention without calling them out in front of the class and or starting bigger issues. She posts everything from classroom management strategies, storytime on how she dealt with different situations, and lots of random tips and tricks she wants to share with current and/or future teachers. 
When she posts different worksheets, lessons, or websites that she uses with her students she walks through them and also talks about how she creates them so that for my I can take notes, look up the lesson, and or write them down to remember them for a later date. 
I think her Tiktok is valuable because she has so much information and if I ever asked her a question about something she will respond and go further into depth. These articles are filtered specifically to what grade level you teach or are interested in. Once you click on an article that you want to read it not only gives you lots of new information but then suggested similar articles that may connect with the one you are currently reading. A few of the articles that I have read have active links in them as well that can take you to classroom management strategies, websites, games, etc. that the author of the article thinks is useful and helpful for you in the classroom. 
I think this source of information and articles is valuable because it is a grade educational spot for teachers to go when they wanna read about stuff pertaining to the education world. Teachers reading on her might also find solutions to their problems they might be having or read something that might question how or why they are doing something the way they are. All of the different videos posted are real-life stories and experiences that the person on stage is talking about. If you are moved by certain people you can dig deeper and see if they have more videos or even their own page where they might discuss other important things. Tedtalk has a variety of different topics and can teach every age valuable lessons from others' experiences. 
The Tedtalks in my eyes is valuable for any classroom. There are videos that teachers can find to use pertaining to a lesson and can make it interactive. Or teachers can take their own time to watch a video and that will help them prepare and create a lesson from the video.
