         <description><![CDATA[<div>LOs:<br> 1) Describe how metals can be extracted. <br>2) Explain how carbon or hydrogen can be used to <em>reduce</em> an ore<br><br>Your mission is to create a poster, powerpoint presentation or a set of notes to explain how we extract metals. <br>Choose a few metals to focus on (choose from aluminium, tin, lead, tungsten, copper, silver and gold). Complete the learning objectives 1 and 2 above relating to these metals. Presentation will impress :)<br><br>The textbooks have a great explanation on page 88-89 that will show you what to include. <br><br>By the end of the lesson add it to this padlet! You might need to sign up, just use your school email.
