The beach lies from the East of Texas and to the South of Texas. The coastal plain region is the only region that has the nice beaches in Texas. This place is also known for flooding. And hurricanes usually form in the waters of the ocean. And big waves can crash into the island, but all of those natural disasters only occur around hurricane season, like around September and October. Most tourists come usually in the summer around June and July. Going to the beach is free, so you don’t have to pay. It is the largest city in Texas. Tons of people like from New York go to Houston to see. This city also has a lot of oil and natural gas companies, since Houston is close to the Gulf of Mexico. Though Houston was the capital of Texas, a man changed the capital to Austin, which Austin is the capital of Texas right  now.
 San Antonio is a city with history that remains in that city. This city is known for the history of the Independence from Mexico. So this city has a lot of museums that attract tourists. It is called Brazos Bend State Park. It is a place where there are some large lakes to fish and some land for people to camp. This place is located at 21901 Farm to Market Rd 762, Needville, TX 77461. This place only opens at 8 am to 10 pm. This place is around 50 miles away from Houston, Texas. The entrance fee is 12 years and younger is free, and 13 years and older is $7 dollars per person.
