Even though I wasn't actually there it's still important for me to appreciate what mother nature has to give. If someone is literally there, it's also key to not trash the place so the animals that live there can be in their natural habitat without any disruptions. Respecting the environment and the organisms that live in is what is needed at all times. During my spring break trip I went to a place where ignited sea turtles were rehabilitated. Some were hit by boats, others endangered by humans and plastic. There were turtle that had trouble with other turtles attacking them. Seeing the turtles was fun and made me happy because they were being saved. However it is sad to think that all the plastic we use and even when we go on boats can hurt or kill the turtles. So, I created a collage of recycled thing I had around, which did include a bucket of old square cut paper, to show the danger the turtles are in. Turtles are a widely known and used example to show where humans have put the health of Earth and it’s inhabitants.

Although, they are beautiful the park has not always looked like how it does in the picture. The park used to be covered in ice and snow but now nearly all of it is gone because of global warming. Many animals have adapted to the snow like mountain goats who use it to cool down and conserve energy.
