What is the conflict or problem of the story? Have you ever experienced anything like this? (Tuesday 28, 2021)

Some problems we had in this story was that Percy Jackson was someone who was a trouble maker in school he basically got expelled from the school because he was making way to much trouble so he moved to a school but the problem was he kept thinking the he was half blood I guess and when anyone said that word he would stop the person saying it right away. I think I never experienced this because I would never usually say half blood because I don't really know what that means but I never had this problem and if I did I would't like it because I would not want to be taking but someone stops me.

If I can change what Percy Jackson is acting I would change his attitude because he was a naughty kid so I would probably change his attitude and then change how he talks because when he got expelled he wasn't using the best words. And if he used manners to teachers and students I think he would've of not get expelled. And how he acted was not the best ether he would always complain and would always make trouble. I think I would probably change only his manners if I had to choose one.

And even maybe if he works hard and maybe learn all his lessons he will one day become a great person.

Discuss the setting of the book. How does the author help you imagine this setting? (Thursday 30, 2021)

I think the setting of the book is maybe the school because the part i'm reading right now is where he keeps getting in trouble by the teachers in school and that he got expelled or something. I feel like the setting is school also is because when he was young he would go to school and in the part i'm reading is when he was like in maybe middle school. And most people don't do home school so I thought the setting was in the school, but there was also another hint he was with his friends and because he was with his friends I don't think you will do home school or something else with your friend or something. So right now my guess is that the setting is the school.

Book Review
⭐️⭐️⭐️
I gave this book 3 stars because at first this book was fun but I think it can improve with more imaginary because at the last part didn't make sense but at the front it was fun and there were a lot of interesting things that talk about Percy Jackson. And one thing that made this book really cool and very interesting is that they kept talking about how Percy Jackson is a big trouble maker and I think that got the most attention from me.

Summery: Percy isn't a normal child he's different from others. He does different things then others he is a massive trouble maker and keeps talking about the half blooded.

I would [or would not] recommend this book to a friend: I think I would recommend this to a friend that makes a lot of trouble because I think if they read this book they will probably change into a whole new person.

This books reminded me of emotinal books for example the Wimpy Kid because he also had trobule at school and didn't get along well and even tough Wimpy Kid is not emotinal I still think that is related because of how the characther feels and acts. The setting is simliar but I wound't say its the same. I also think of the book smile because even though she is happy through out the books some of her books were kind of a bully. There friends were a bully because her friends lifted her skirt and also bullied about how ugly she was kind of for having braces. But I don't thinks he took is as a joke and I agree and I dont know why I think of smile but I just feel sad through out the book for smile and Wimpy kid. Now I just thought of another one and it is Shooting Kabul because Fadi was also having trouble with bullying and it just suddenly reminded me as I did a different question. I think of Fadi and Auggie the same because at first they were shy and sad but at the end they cahnged into a happy person and wasen't shy at all. They also got bullied for how they looked and I think thats really wrong because that is really mean.

The problom was bully and when I read the problom of the books it makes me also remind me of Fadi because Fadi was just like Auggie. Auggie had bullies and there were very mean, they were saying bad things about how Auggie looked and also for Fadi, Fadi was sad during the book and was bullied for how he looks. I have not expericed this but I know it could happen in the future just because I am Asian. People bully others usally because there jelouse or just hate that person in some kind of way. For example in the book Harry potter he kind of was unpopular around the black guy because Harry's dad bullied the black guy and took the girl the black guy liked and now he is basically blaming it on the kid. I feel like people remeber when they got bullied and some how get revenge in the future and blames on someone else. I felt really emotinal because of all the bullying he had I felt Auggie was cool but people just judged him with out knowing how fun he is.

J. Palacio is an American author and she came up with the book wonder because 6 years ago she had her own kids and they went to a ice cream shop and a random girl sat down next to R. J. Palacio son and he started to cry and that made her come up with the book wonder. The reason is she went to ice cream shop but the girl who sat next to R. J. Palacio son was someone with a facial disorder and the kids cried because they were scared and that probably made R. J. Palacio sad for the girl and decided to write about a book that happen to her and her sons at the ice cream shop.
Fact: Did you know there is a real Auggie
Did you know that she has 2 dogs named Bear and Beau.

Some lessons i've learn from this book was, that looking different makes you speical. I didn't know that if you look different it's speical because, I thought that the way you look changes how people look at you and behave. I knew speical is a good thing but I didn't think being speical is great and stuff because people behave different from others. I think they way you look can change how you are because people behave different which is bad but people look up and down and judge how you look. This book really helped me understand how others feel whenthey look different.

If I was the main character I would change how Rania acts because she acted childish and weird which I would not behave. The reason her tooth was bad and stuff was because she acted like a child when she is in middle school. I think frm middle school you need to start acting like one because she was laughing how she looked which made me mad because she didn´t have to run, she chose to run which was bad for her so I think in the story I would probably just walk because I would walk to my house like a normal person would.

The problem is that Raina fell and the front 2 teeth were weird which she thought made her look like when she was a baby. Raina was running to her house when she was about to tag her friend she missed and fell which lead her to dissaster. She had to get braces and so much other things which hurts and is not fun. When she was going to highschool Raina felt like a teenage girl for once because she got earrings from her birthday. Raina just ran and fall which made her go to the dentist almost ever day. People bullied her for how she looks and she was even bullied by her friends to untill she made new friends who are better.
