During high school, I gained valuable experience working at a daycare and serving as a student teacher. These roles allowed me to connect with children, learn about their curiosity, and witness their growth firsthand. Seeing the joy in their eyes as they learned something new and the impact of creating a positive learning environment helped continue my passion for teaching. These experiences made me want to pursue a career in education, where I can continue to inspire, guide, and make a meaningful difference in students' lives.

College

After graduating from Vandegrift High School in Austin, Texas, I continued my education at the University of Arkansas. I am currently on the route to get my bachelor's degree in elementary education. This has been a dream of mine since I was little, and I can't wait to experience the love and excitement my future class will bring me! Outside of school, I love to cook, walk, go for coffee runs, dog-sit, and spend quality time with my friends and family!

After College

I’m excited to return to Texas and begin my teaching journey, where I can give back to the community that shaped who I am. I plan to start my career teaching third grade, an important year full of discovery for students. While I’m eager to focus on third grade initially, I’m also open to exploring other grades in the future to expand my skills. I can’t wait to create a classroom filled with curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning!
