was mostly about setting up my workspace and office equipment, but it came with its fair share of hiccups. The PC setup had issues (not just for me—most interns faced the same), and the employee badge PIC was off duty, meaning some processes had to be delayed until Day 2.

| Day 2 – Settling In

Today felt more structured as I got a few key things sorted out. My employee badge is finally in hand—one less thing to worry about! I also wrapped up two courses and got certified, which feels like a small win. Still waiting on access approvals, though, so that’s a work in progress.

Meetings took up a good chunk of the day. Had a briefing with Yue May ( one of the intern leads) about networking activities, followed by an introduction to China Treasury with Laura ( my functional mentor). Both were insightful, and I’m starting to get a clearer picture of what’s ahead.

For now, my homework is to prepare slides for the internship briefing kickstart and go through the notes Laura shared. Feels like the real work is about to begin!

| Day 3 – Getting Into the Flow

The day started with entering the required courses for interns, followed by a CFO Group project briefing. Slowly but surely, things are falling into place—my access to Pubshare, Trax, Citi, and BPC has finally been granted! That means I could dive into some self-study on Pubshare and Trax statements.

Originally, I had a meeting with Laura today, but it got rescheduled to tomorrow afternoon. That gives me more time to focus on ongoing tasks:

| Day 4 – Keeping the Momentum

The morning started as usual—catching up on documents in Pubshare and getting into the flow of things.

| Day 5 – Things Are Clicking!

Today was a big step forward—I finally got a full understanding of Trax, BPC, and Citi Direct! Now that I see the bigger picture of how these systems work, I can apply them more effectively to my daily tasks.

Aside from that, I worked on the Internship Networking slides for our coffee chit-chat session on March 25th, which I’ll be hosting. Exciting! Also, I’ve updated the group project details to the PIC and am just waiting for approval.

Feeling more settled into the workflow—one step at a time!

| Day 7 First Hosting PIC

Carpooling Update:
Starting today, I’ll be carpooling with an FDP program girl to work. She’s kind and nice, but since we need to avoid high fares and traffic, we plan to book our Grab around 6:50 AM daily. Still figuring out my off-work commute plan—I’ll explore some solutions soon.

  Shifting from actual data practice to forecasting now. Previously, my focus was on historical data and accuracy, but today I’m diving into predictive analysis—excited to learn more about this aspect!

  It’s our first meetup, and I’m feeling a bit nervous. Hoping to have a good conversation and build a strong connection!

• It's been a month since I started my internship at Dell, and so far, everything is going well. I'm catching up with my main functional role, which is quite fun and manageable. The basic principles and theories behind my work align with what I learned during my degree in Banking.

  The special events Dell organizes for interns are also beneficial. We've been introduced to unfamiliar faces and had the opportunity to present quick introductions about ourselves. The networking time after these sessions has been helpful in making us feel more comfortable with our working environment.

It's a key learning stage for me and also knowing it's important to wait for others to show the sense of respect.

1. Met one of the amazing intern leader, her name is Cindy. I love her vibes and seeing her I saw myself, an aggressive and fast pace person who comes from difficult family and understand the importance of money.

It's been ain't easy to understand that out of 5 of us they will only open 1-2 slots for it. So managing my mental and physical health have been my priorities. To counter these I went for yoga and fitness classes for relaxation
