         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:<br></strong>When there is no explanation as to how the technique works so they use the word energy to make it sound scientific.<br><br><strong>Connection:<br></strong>The video I linked shows <strong>Mystical Energy </strong>because during the video they say to use your energy to choose a deck of cards that your attracted to and depending on the deck it will give you an reading.&nbsp; A lot of people these days use tarot readings on the daily and I have heard a bunch of them talk about how it is accurate to themselves, so whatever energy is being used is somehow being used properly.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:<br>Appeal to Authority</strong> uses famous people or people that people would listen to like people in lab coats to listen to their advertisement.<br><strong><br>Connection:</strong><br>The picture I  attached says "20,679 Physicians say Luckies are less irritating"  this means the authority method they use is lab coat by saying that a bunch of doctors say that smoking them won't irritate your throat like most other cigarettes.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition: <br>All Natural </strong>is when a product is claimed to be made with all natural ingredients, and said to be healthier for you. When it can still be unhealthy or still have ingredients that are not natural at all.<br><br><strong>Connections:</strong><br>The link I attached proves the <strong>All Natural </strong>red flag<strong> </strong>because Snapple claims all of it's ingredients are said to be all natural when they have added colouring agents to them, this has caused a lawsuit with them for lying about it. With the added colouring agents it changes the idea of All Natural to being mostly natural.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:<br>Ancient Wisdom </strong>is when there a medical or therapeutic that was created in the ancient times that are still used to this day. <br><strong><br>Connection:&nbsp; </strong><br>The article I attached shows <strong>Ancient Wisdom </strong>because it's talking about cupping which was first practiced in A.D 281 to 341 which is still used to this day. Cupping has also been said to not be the best for you to do but many still do it. But since cupping has been around for years people think it's healthy for you.<strong><br></strong><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:<br>Proof of Verbosity</strong> is when there is too much information so your head is not sure what the truth is and your head is just overthinking.<br><br>Connection:<br>The link I attached talks about how your head has a lot going on because of covid and how some information is misleading. I've found that during Covid I haven't been able pay attention to what's correct and what is. Everyday there is something new they're saying about how something they said was wrong or how something they thought was wrong was actually correct and not a lot of people understand anymore.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:</strong><br>When someone uses different information to take peoples minds off of what was talked about before.<br><strong><br>Connection:<br></strong>In this episode of Family Guy it shows a <strong>Red Herring </strong>because during the debate&nbsp;they would talk about different problems than what the questions that the audience were asking. By doing so they were distracting the people with what they could think about and the audience would agree with it and forget what was asked in the first place.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:</strong><br>When your brain sees patterns of something its used to so it makes your brain quickly relates it to the similar object and makes you see that instead .<br><strong><br>Connection:<br></strong>In the attached photo at first you see a violin laying on its side but when you look closer you can see that it's land that is in the same shape as a violin. This proves<strong> Patternicity </strong>because the&nbsp;fact that your brain can picture something that isn't in the picture just because what is sees is the same shape as said object.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Definition:<br></strong>When we see something that we don't understand we try to think of an excuse for it without any actual evidence.<br><strong><br>Connection:</strong><br>In the video we see a lot of things that we don't understand at all, like with the stretcher how did it randomly get thrown around like that with no wind around? The only logical explanation people can think of is to say that it was a ghost interaction caught on camera. There is a lot of things that go on in the world where its just stuff moving on it's own and its always put together with ghosts.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The one topic I used critical thinking on was for Post #8 Reason for Belief: Unexplained. I had to think of a way that something could happen and be unexplained and think of something that really makes no sense to anybody. And have to think of how I feel its unexplainable.<br><br>The problem is that some people don't believe in ghosts so these videos will still be unexplainable. The source is a video and it claims that what's shown in the video is evidence of ghosts. The source is credible since its a compilation of multiple videos, nothing can really be proved since nobody has proof of ghosts ever existing.</div>]]></description>
