         <title>Apps and tools for science teaching</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- <em>Chemistry lab</em> is a very useful app that allows students to study and practice the main organic reaction mechanisms. This app is available for download on Play store.<br><a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.electrolyticearth.chemistrylab&amp;hl=en_US">https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.electrolyticearth.chemistrylab&amp;hl=en_US</a><br><br>-<em>Phet Interactive Simulations</em> is another tool every science student should consider when trying to imagine a given situation related to a physical or chemical concept. Here, a bunch of simulations on a wide range of topics can be found.<br><a href="https://phet.colorado.edu/_m/es/">https://phet.colorado.edu/_m/es/</a><br><br>-The last app I would like to mention is <em>Chemistry Master 2019</em>. This app gathers a lot of chemical data needed in problem solving and homework. It even has a molar mass calculator! It doesn't matter whether your chemistry level is basic or advanced, you'll find great help here.<br><a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dhafu.chemistry&amp;hl=es_US">https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dhafu.chemistry&amp;hl=es_US</a><br><br><strong>Task 2. </strong>It is not easy to choose one app among all three. But I think that the most suitable tool for using at the classroom is the second one. The reason is that it has simulations on almost every basic topic and unit of both physics and chemistry. So, let's imagine we need to explain the influence of forces in motion. It would be very helpful to use the corresponding simulation so that students could see the different variables that affect the force values.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- <em>Socrative</em> can be used to evaluate students through the use of questionnaires, allowing teachers to obtain students' feedback. One of its advantages is that it can be run in any operative system, ensuring its use by any student. <br><br>- <em>Kahoot</em> is a free tool that can be used to create interactive quizzes. These quizzes are a good idea to make our students learn through gamification.<br><br>- <em>Quizizz</em> is quite similar to the previous one, in the sense that it offers free gamified quizzes in order to play in the classroom.<br><br></div>]]></description>

I would choose that one as it describes in a proper way all steps to follow accompanied by the time that should be dedicated by each one. I think that this kind of lesson plans are a good idea when you are going to explain for the first time a particular unit. But I would take them as a beginning step, modifying it in order to adapt the plan to our particular students.</div>]]></description>

The forgotten dimension in Science education research</em><br><a href="https://www.researchgate.net/publication/46611219_Didactics_of_Science_the_forgotten_dimension_in_Science_Education_Research">https://www.researchgate.net/publication/46611219_Didactics_of_Science_the_forgotten_dimension_in_Science_Education_Research</a><br><br>- <em>50 Innovative Teaching Methods in Science</em> <br><a href="https://www.edsys.in/innovative-science-teaching-methods/">https://www.edsys.in/innovative-science-teaching-methods/</a><br><br><strong>Task 2.</strong> From my point of view, the last article mentioned is the one that could help my lectures the most. Although it is focused on the lower levels of learning, it provides lots of examples and activities that could be used with kids in order to optimize the acquisition of the basic concepts of science. We all know that if science is not taught properly, students will lose motivation and will end with a boring overview of the subject. Examples to be used at any time in order to avoid students to be boring are the use of thinking maps, word walls or computational thinking.</div>]]></description>
