Odysseus used his intelligence to get out of the cave. He used an olive branch and "rammed it deep in his crater eye."(Homer lines 332-333). Athena also made an appearance in this episode because when the sheep came into the cave Odysseus said "Athena granted what I prayed for," (Homer line 264).</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

Then Aeolus tells them that the gods will not help them again because they didn't follow what was being asked of them.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>
