- Source of income to the country because they spend money in our country (Flight ticket, transportation, accommodation, food). The government uses the revenue of the country to invest in public facilities and infrastructure to raise the standard of living.

- Job opportunities for locals are higher. Restaurants, Hotels, Airports, Tour guides.

- Improve the country's image. When tourist return to their home country, they will promote our country to their friends and family.

Disadvantages:
-  There are some tourist with bad behaviours who do not obey the rules and may contribute to environmental damage. 

- Some local producers will sell their goods at a higher price to be sold to tourists and the locals will feel unfair. 

- Some tourists lack respect for our culture. They may not understand our culture well and may unknowingly offend locals or come out as rude. Eg: Language barrier.

- Strength in distribution, efficiency and mass marketing. Bigger companies have more experience and capital to do all these.



- It is much more economically efficient, and case studies supports that big companies generate more revenue for the nation as compared to smaller ones.



- More trustworthy in the market because big companies tend to have experienced certificate.




Disadvantages 
- Overreliance on big businesses occurs, gives big businesses opportunity to abuse their power. Example: Enron Scandal (1996-2001)



- Loss of connection with the community.
