The 9 students were Ernest Green, Minnijean Brown, Elizabeth Eckford,    Melba Pattillo Beals, Gloria Ray Kalmark, Carlotta Walls LaNier, Thelma Mothershed, Terrance Robert and Jefferson Thomas.
