What Germany said:</div><ul><li>Germany participated in the fighting&nbsp; after&nbsp; <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingdom_of_Serbia">Serbia</a> declared war&nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp;Kaiser and the German government&nbsp; thought&nbsp; of a way to end the fighting with germany &nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp;germans marched to war to show there military is still strong</li></ul><div><br>2. What really happened:</div><ul><li>&nbsp;Germany went into war unprepared</li><li>For a couple years they managed to fight against allies on the western front.</li><li>Germany wanted a stop to the war</li><li>Powers of favor in allies were unbalanced once the united states joined the war.</li><li>After the 2nd Battle of the Marne Germany would surrender</li><li>Lost the war / out of soldiers and ideas</li></ul><div><br>3. At the treaty:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Did not invite Germany to the Peace conference &nbsp;</li><li>The treaty was handed to Germany and they had few weeks to accept it&nbsp;</li><li>Germany sent it back with few complaints but the Allied ignored it</li></ul><div><br>4. Germany's feelings:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Germany was disappointed, they were angry, and they felt betrayed&nbsp;</li><li>They were angry and offended at the fact that the war had started the war and they had to pay for it</li><li>The treaty was unjust&nbsp;</li></ul>]]></description>

What really happened:&nbsp;</div><ul><li>Italy allied themselves with Britain</li><li>France promised Italy payment at the expense of&nbsp; Austria-Hungary as well as land in the Middle East and Africa.</li><li>Italy is looking to expand their territory by possibly 100 percent and made the logical political choice and changed sides.</li></ul><div><br><br>3.
