         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Architect Instructions (Clause 2.0)<br>-According to Clause 2.1,the Contractor shall comply with AI<br>-A.I. will be issued under following circumstances;<br>• Variation Order (V.O) Clause 11.2<br>• Work that does not entitle any payment. Clause 6.5<br>• Instructions which are not in the Contract.<br>-Clause 2.2 – All instructions issued by the Architect are considered as A.I. unless:<br>1. It is issued in writing expressly<br>‘Architect’s Instructions”.<br>2. It is upon confirmation from the<br>Contractor entitled ‘Confirmation of<br>Architect’s Instructions’ (CAI).<br>3. It is upon subsequent confirmation<br>by the Architect with an A.I.<br>-Clause 2.3 – provides the ground for the Contractor to question the Architect’s power to issue the instructions.<br>• If he is in doubt, he could in writing to ask the<br>Architect – to state and specify the provision provided in the Contract (which empowered the Architect to issue the said instruction)<br>• Must be done immediately upon receive A.I.<br>-Clause 2.4 – Failure to comply A.I.<br>• It is a breach of contract when the Contractor fails to comply with A.I.<br>• A.I shall be comply within 7 days after receiving such A.I by the Contractor.</div>]]></description>

Therefore, this method of procurement is best suited to experienced developers who may a have larger in house team or experience dealing with complex projects.<br><br>Each element of construction works is packaged up and tendered so that there are contracts in place between the developer and lots of different contractors and sub-contractors to complete the project. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>
