Question: Did I notice any differences in the ways that my parents treated my sister versus myself?

• there was a huge difference in the way my parents treated me and my sister. my parents treated me like their prized possession, never let me out of their sight, never let me do anything that could affect my ability to train. but they treated my sister like a second choice. like an after thought. It wasnt fair to her to automatically be treated like she didnt matter and I fear she resents me for it.

Question: What was our attitude towards the elderly?

• the way we were raised we were expected to stay silent in a conversation or interaction or argument with elderly we were expected to be obideant and submisive. Now I resent those older than me who force my respect or submission without compassion or respect or reasoning in their demands. I view authority as something that is earned by action or character not just age or even status. Even then if they dont treat others with respect and holds them selves to the same standards they force on others I refuse to allow them to treat me like I am less than when their character is also lacking in ways I lack age or status.

• my parents made the decisions in our household and between the 2. my mom made the most decisions because my dad is a pushover when it comes to her, but not out of love, out of fear. If my mom doesnt get what she wants. she throws a tantrum and makes everyone suffer the consequence of her narcissistic tendencies.
