This is a picture of my girlfriend and I. I chose to match this quote with this specific image because I have learned how to give out love, and how to receive it through her. She has brought so much joy and happiness into my life and brought me out of my shell.

I think this quote really relates to me with this picture because I myself need to take a step back and watch. I need to ask myself if this is what I really want with my life. Is my only goal to make money? Or do I want a life that I can enjoy? This photo is one that I took of Round Island Lighthouse located on Round Island. When I go to Round Island I take a step back and enjoy my life. Every time I see this picture I am reminded to take a step back and think on my actions and what I want to be doing.

I need to place more of an emphasis on family and this picture really reminds me that I need to do that.

I felt like I had no societal expectations, and I was not required to fit in to be able to live happily. I think this picture really highlights that when compared to the person that I am now.

This quote relates to this picture because my old friends and I used to embrace our weirdness and found joy in it. Nowadays, I feel as though I have to act a certain way to be able to make it through the day. I am not happy living like this and I could only wish that I was strong enough to live by my own culture. This picture, although admittedly corny, evokes feeling of regret for not embracing who I was throughout the rest of my life.

Morrie's wisdom has influenced a shift in my priorities in life. His wisdom pushed me away from living a more materialistic lifestyle to trying my best to value genuine connections and love more. I am inspired by his emphasis on honesty and sincerity. Now, I often find myself questioning the societal norms imposed upon me and making my choices with more purpose. Morrie's wisdom has shown me to enjoy all the time that I spend with those that I love and to prioritize experiences.

What parts of my life would you like to improve and start living by Morrie's wisdom?

I want to live more like Morrie by being true to myself and not letting the society around me dictate who I am and how I should act. I have started to focus on spending my time on things that really matter, like living new moments with my loved ones, instead of getting caught in stupid trivial stuff. Morrie has taught me to drop the things in my life that don't bring any real meaning to my life and to focus on what truly matters. I really would like to be more mindful, and learn how to appreciate the small moments more and not being drug down by all the stress in my life.
