Mild allergy: You can take antihistamines which helps relieve itching or hives. Antihistamines can NOT be taken during a severe allergy.

Severe allergy: You can take epinephrine which is a shot to take if you have a life threatening food allergy.

If you have a food allergy and you do not know what the food is you should do an allergy test and find out. You should avoid the food you are allergic to so you don’t get an allergic reaction. It is a good idea to have a medicine with you so if you accidentally eat the food you are allergic too you have some medicine so the allergy does not become severe.
