  Since completing the 3-week placement, I enjoyed supporting the branding and PR aspect, creating look books, Get the looks and personal styling for their clients. Gaining valuable knowledge about marketing, communications and sales.

  During assignments, I demonstrate an good understanding of the brand identity, demographic and core values, identifying internal and external factors about the landscape of the brand.

  
  

• What do I struggle with?

  My weakness is occasionally feeling stressed and overwhelmed with heavy workloads. To manage this, I prioritise effective time planning, maintain detailed to-do lists, stay organised, and ensure a clear understanding of deadlines.

After completing the strengths and weaknesses skills test I was able to determine my main areas of strength and weakness. I plan to work on my public speaking, questioning more, facilitating, and coaching deficiencies.

To address these weaknesses, I plan to enhance my public speaking abilities by delivering my assignments and presentations in front of my peers and family, reading and watching Ted Talks on YouTube, to develop this insecurity.

My values within my career are learning to be creative, where I can apply and expand my skills in my chosen job.

In this short-term period of my professional goals, I aim to focus on my final major project and complete my industry placement at Trace Publicity as a Beauty PR Intern. During the placement, I will be learning key industry skills and important tasks that are required to learn in the fashion/beauty industry.

Personal goals:

• I want to improve my presenting and interview skills, which are important for my future profession and public speaking. I'd additionally like to improve my confidence when presenting to my colleagues and industry professionals. I've been working on my skills by listening to Ted Talks and practising more in front of my peers. I'm further preparing for a panel talk since I've volunteered to speak in front of potential industry mentors about my experience with my mentor at Harvey Nichols.

• I intend to participate in the Cancer Research UK charity. Focusing on the Bond Street Charity SuperMarket's new endeavour.

• Adopting healthier habits by exercising and achieving my target of 10,000 steps per day, focusing on my mental health, and eating nutritional foods while eliminating sugar and gluten.

• By this period I would have completed my 3 month placement abroad studying the luxury business management course in either Paris or Milan

• To build my network on LinkedIn to 300 connections, gain networks with professionals and become more active with people in the industry by messaging about relevant work experience.

  I learned the value of networking from numerous industry talks. Aneal Birdi was a guest speaker at the university, highlighting the importance of using your industry network and seeking fulfilment. My senior lecturer, Chanda, has also taught me the value of networking and put yourself out of your comfort zone to achieve success in your future career. She attended the House of Commons to discuss important issues like International Women's Day.

• Continuing with my fashion/beauty internships as press/marketing PR assistants and getting an internship abroad with an established brand.

  
  

Personal Goals:

• During this time I aim to get my driving license.

• Get a gym membership and focus more on my physical health. During this period I aim to journal, create affirmations and establish daily habits and goals in my personal life.

• Since the beginning i have always wanted to travel around Europe and explore different cultures. I am aiming to do this by joining a community of girls who host trips around the world to Europe and Asia. Hosted by Girls Who Travel. 

• During this time I would have completed my degree with a high 2:1 or 1st. Then I aim to start an internship with a fashion/beauty brand or agency assisting with events or doing a public relations job, by gaining more experience in this sector.

• I also aim to volunteer backstage at London Fashion Week in September or February 2025. Working behind the scenes at Paul Castello or Emilia Wickstead, gaining hands-on work experience and connecting with industry professionals.

• Recently signing up for the Dazed Membership club i aim to attend more networking events and connect with other creative professionals to expand my network further.

  
  

Personal Goals:

• During my internships, I aim to earn an extra income by starting a side hustle by renting my clothes on either HURR or By Rotation. I am also currently selling my clothes on Depop and Vinted.

• I intend to explore Paris and Milan to potentially study for a luxury business management course. By gaining further analysis and making connections abroad to seek a career in this sector. During this visit, I plan to save my money and keep track of my finances.

• Focusing on my core skills and enhancing my self-awareness through my personal

  and professional goals.

• Improve and become fluent in my second language Slovakian, by teaching and watching films and series to understand more of the language to engage more with my grandma.

• By this time I would like to finish my time working as a part-time sales advisor at the COS store and continue to work as a full-time job with a luxury online or department store like Harvey Nichols, Matches Fashion or Net a Porter as a PR intern involving events or another position.

• Volunteer backstage at Fashion Week either in Paris, Milan or London at luxury brands.

Personal:

• I hope to run a 5k marathon for a charity and would like to donate regularly and give back to the community.

• While having a full-time job I will be building my savings to live in an apartment and become financially stable and comfortable.

• Also, I would like to have supportive and uplifting friendships and relationships.

• Having a good work/life balance while working in a full-time job.

• Advance in my career. To have a fulfilling career in the fashion industry that I enjoy.

• Moved into my apartment near central London with friends and my boyfriend.
