In order to learn, he sneaks into classes and sits at the back of the class. William eventually gets caught and has to leave. By working on the windmill, this takes his mind off of school. Later on, he is nearly finished with the windmill, but he finds out he needs to pay a welder to weld nuts and bolts into the bike frame and PVC pipes. While this is going on, he is getting teased from what seems to be everyone one in his village. Afterwards, he needs a generator. William and Gilbert stumble along a boy around his age with his bike which included a dynamo. Gilbert pays the boy 200 kwacha for the dynamo with the bulb. Shortly after that he comes up with the idea of making a wind mill. He pays someone to weld the parts together and gets a generator to make the wind mill. The wind blew it and the blades began to spin.Before his friend his Gilbert lend him some money for the dynamo he had worked by unloading wood to get 200 Kwacha to get money so he could pay to weld his pieces for his windmill together.
