Religious faith puts trust into an omniscient being of some sort, while personal faith is how much a person trusts they can protect themself. Blind faith is when a person follows someone or something without full knowledge of what that person or thing stands for and represents. People can lose faith when something happens that shows untrustworthiness in the person or thing that they have faith in. I didn’t listen because I was in a rush for the bus. If I had taken that advice I could have just scrubbed my bowl lightly with a sponge and soap. But I had to harshly scrub the bowl with the hard side of the sponge, to get the dried stuck on cereal off.

Hope can motivate you, but discipline is what drives you. Hope being misleading is most apparent in cults. Promising a better life after this one, just pledge your life to our cause, and be willing to do anything, legal or illegal, moral or immoral, life or death, you are loyal. In life, I have a few places I want to see(Germany, Greece, Hawaii), I look forward to meeting somebody that I can spend the rest of my life with, keeping a stable job that I enjoy, and giving back when I feel that I've accomplished a life well lived, but whether I achieve those goals is down to how hard I discipline myself in those areas.
