To  help them searching for the meaningful  words, we had a moment of brainstorming. Then, each student  had access to a page of the story, choosed between one and three words from the page or search for the main idea,  and wrote  a sentence. 
At the end, working in a big group, we read the all sentences and put them  together in a way they make sense and reflect "The Long Journey".
