I am not one hundred percent sure about the definitions of these two powerful words. When we spoke in class about being privileged many of us gave examples. This opened up the words definition for myself. Before everyone spoke I took the term as something only to do with power, only to do with something way above everyday life when the truth is that privilege is something way more. Just like our book said to open our camera lens to widen our view. 
 
            Oppression is something that I believe our society will never escape. There will always be a majority and minority. People who are under so much oppression need to stand up and speak out and keep trying to make a difference; but making a difference in a correct way has more of a positive outcome than other options.
