1. People start using drugs as a means to cope with things they don’t think they can deal with in their lives. They turn to drugs and eventually become dependent on them.
2. People use certain drugs because they think drugs like marijuana are just recreational and have no effects. While a drug like that doesn’t have any short term effects, the user doesn’t know what the long term effects.
3. Most drugs that get people hooked most often (if not always) lead to other and more harmful drugs. Whether the drug gets too expensive like oxycontin or your friends pressure you to experiment with other drugs, most “recreational” drug use will lead to hard drug use and addiction.
4. It’s important to have strong morals and values because this age is the turning point of our lives. Some teens don’t realize it, but the decisions you make in high school can change how the rest of your life plays out. Ultimately a drug-free life as a young adult will give you better opportunities in the future.

1- Well, I think that many people start using it because of social pressure, or because of problems. The people who may start using it because of social pressure, many of their friends insist that they do so and that it would not go wrong.
2- I think that because we all think it's medicine, I think we all have the idea that the medicine would help us with our illnesses. I think it's the idea that everyone has, practically everything is in the mind of the human being. medicine causes harm despite everything .
3- because there are many types of drugs that make people feel relaxed and there are many that anesthetize pain or illness .
4-

Peyton Sturgeon
1.) Many people start using drugs as an escape from reality or to fit in with a group.
2.) Because some drugs have way worse effects than others so people think it’s okay to take the drugs they’re taking because it doesn’t have as bad effects.
3.) Because as you grow a tolerance to certain drugs you search for a stronger drug to get that same initial high.
4.) Because around this age is when you are introducted and offered drugs. It is important that set those values and morals now rather than after you’re hooked.
