L'oreal bought the leading brand in China Garnier to stay ahead in the market, it did the same in other parts of the world too. For example NYX in North America, Niely in Brazil. L'oreal is also leading in the R&amp;D department with 105 patents and 3.782 reseachers. L'Oreal also benefitted through social  media by gaining the maximum number of followers.
