By working through intl. organizations, the US will change the nature of the intl. system. By aiding West Europe and Japan after WWII, international trade was boosted and the US economy was strengthened.

Our fundamental values are in conflict with those of large parts of the world.. By handing over power to intl organizations, we may lose much of our influence. Using our own military out of America leaves us open and undefended. Many countries are run by a corrupted government. Spending the money we´d need to would deprive us of our resources to address homeland problems.
