The former husband of Anna Garcia. They went to a long and bad divorce last year and had trouble settling their joint belongings. Alex had the most to gain out of killing Anna and was the very last person who visited her before she died. He is a pharmacist and had a gambling addiction, meaning he was low on money and could easily obtain a drug to kill Anna. He would also get all of the insurance money if she passed away, which would be a great motive for him to kill her as they are also expecting a baby. The fingerprint, hair, and blood at the crime scene also belongs to Alex, which means that there is a very high chance that he could have done something to Anna when he visited her last night. The pills, however are just aspirin, which helps with pain and since she did go to the hospital for an unknown reason, she very well could have been using them to help her.

He also mentioned that Anna was starting to skip her morning walks randomly. Doug and Anna were romantically involved but last week she abruptly ended the relationship. Doug also mentioned that he saw Erica, Alex's wife, jogging in the neighborhood last week. Overall, I think that Doug did not kill Anna as he wouldn't have called 911 if he did. He also does not seem like the type of guy to just kill someone because they dumped them. There would also be little to no gain in ending her life. After identifying everything at the crime scene, the hair, blood, shoe print, and fingerprint did not belong to Doug so it is safe to say that Doug is the last person to have killed Anna.

The new wife of Alex Garcia. Anna suspects that Alex had started the relationship with her before they were even divorced. Erica was seen by Lucy sitting outside Anna's house in her car the day before her death. Besides being a stalker, she also really likes money. Her dad gave Alex a salary he didn't deserve just to keep her daughter happy. What he didn't know was that Alex has a gambling problem, which mean they are always short on money. Since she like to brag about how rich she is, she doesn't like when she has little to no money. This combined with the stalking tells us that she very well could have been a leading factor in killing Anna. After testing, all samples, none of them showed to be Erica's in any way. While this does mean that she wasn't the killer, she still could have contributed in other ways too.

She and Anna work at a local bakery and had an argument about whether or not they should expand into sugar-free items or not. Lucy said yes, but Anna refused. Lucy also told us that Anna had to leave work early yesterday because she had to meet someone. Anna was also in the hospital for a few days and no longer taking the medicine that was prescribed to her, but she does have some back pain at both sides of her body. Lucy started selling nutritional supplements on the side to make more money. I think that Lucy did not kill Anna, but she did give some interesting clues to follow. The tests show that the hair, fingerprint, shoe, and blood tests are clean for Lucy, meaning she is also a very unlikely suspect.
