Rena L

Proverb in Chinese: 不怕慢，就怕站 ( bù pà màn, jiù pà zhàn)

English translation: It’s Better to Make Slow Progress Than No Progress at All

Meaning: This proverb means that the only thing we should be afraid of is stopping completely. It reminds us to be patient and that some things take time, slow progress is still progress after all.

Personal Connection: This proverb has something to do with life. One of them is the human learning process, from birth to adulthood, humans experience growth and development. This was accompanied by a learning process to form the person he is today. For example, babies have to learn to lie face down, walk, talk, and for example when someone is in school they have to learn to achieve their goals, from kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school and college to work. In order to achieve a bright future, everyone must make progress, whether they fail or succeed, these are all processes that shape a personality. If only failure occurs and the process stops, the future will be destroyed. So, the most important thing of all is the process, the result is only a consequence of our actions in the past. With the process we learn to accept failure and get up again.
